Jaco Mulder was born in Harderwijk but for the most part grew up in Emmeloord where he received piano and drum lessons. He studied at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague and at the Artez Conservatory in Zwolle, where he completed several master’s degrees. He has made tours to England, Austria and Sweden, among others.
As a conductor he worked for the Netherlands Accompanying Orchestra, for which he wrote various compositions and arrangements and he participated in several TV and radio recordings as a composer and conductor (EO, VPRO, NCRV). orchestras, including in Hollywood where he has conducted various film scores for several composers. He currently conducts 4 choirs throughout the Netherlands.
